A New Networking Opportunity for Young People
The Scugog Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the launch of the Young Business Alliance, a dynamic networking group and monthly event series tailored specifically for young entrepreneurs.
Geared towards individuals aged 15-35 with a passion for business and innovation, the Young Business Alliance offers a unique platform for connecting with like-minded peers, learning valuable networking techniques from industry experts, and exploring exciting collaboration opportunities.
“Our goal with the Young Business Alliance is to provide a supportive and engaging environment where young entrepreneurs can come together to network, learn, and grow,” said Karey Anne Large, Executive Director of the Scugog Chamber of Commerce. “We believe that fostering connections among young professionals is essential for driving innovation and economic growth within our community.”
Each monthly meetup is designed to be both educational and entertaining, featuring exciting activities to ensure participants enjoy every moment while building meaningful connections. The Young Business Alliance aims to offer a diverse range of events to suit every interest.
The inaugural event, the Coffee & Board Games Meetup, will take place on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Scugog Business Centre. Attendees can look forward to networking over coffee while enjoying a fun-filled evening of board games and camaraderie.
“We’re excited to kick off the Young Business Alliance with our Coffee & Board Games Meetup,” said Melissa Rada, Scugog Chamber of Commerce Board Director and Owner of Rada(r) Digital Marketing. “It’s the perfect opportunity for business-minded young people and entrepreneurs alike to connect in a relaxed and informal setting while having a great time.”
In addition to networking opportunities, attendees will have the chance to win some fantastic door prizes, including a Leather Monthly Planner, a 4000 pc Clay Bead Bracelet Kit, and an LED Table Lamp.
