We value your decision to join the North Durham Chamber of Commerce and are dedicated to providing you with resources, support, and opportunities to help your business thrive. To ensure a clear understanding, please review and accept the following terms and conditions as part of your membership with the Chamber.

Membership Activation and Communication

Upon receipt of your membership payment, you will begin to receive emails with various marketing, promotional, and upgrade options. Please read these emails so you can take full advantage of your membership.

Membership dues are payable in full at the time of joining or renewal. Dues are set annually and are subject to change.

Member Satisfaction and Support

We strive to ensure all members are satisfied with the services and benefits provided. If you have questions or concerns about your membership experience, please contact us so we can address your needs promptly.

The Chamber’s reputation is built on positive member experiences and referrals. Your feedback is always welcome.

Scope of Services and Limitations

Membership provides access to networking events, advocacy, business resources, and promotional opportunities, but does not guarantee specific business outcomes or results.

Participation in Chamber programs and events is encouraged, but members are responsible for their own engagement and follow-through on opportunities provided.

Member Responsibilities

Members are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of any information provided to the Chamber, including business listings and promotional materials.

Members are expected to comply with all applicable laws, Chamber policies, and codes of conduct during participation in Chamber activities and events.

Service Finalization and Changes

All membership benefits and services are considered active upon confirmation of payment and remain in effect for the duration of the membership term of 1 year from the start (or renewal) of your membership.

Changes to membership packages or unused services may be subject to new pricing or terms if not utilized within one year of purchase.

Refunds and Cancellations

Due to the nature of Chamber membership and services, all sales are final. Membership dues, event fees, and sponsorship fees are non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend a scheduled Chamber event or meeting, please provide at least 24 hours notice to allow for adjustments in planning. Please note that there are no refunds on event or meeting tickets.

Third-Party Services and Data

The Chamber may use third-party platforms and databases to facilitate member communications, events, and outreach. The Chamber does not endorse or guarantee the services of any third-party provider and assumes no responsibility for their actions.

Availability and Scheduling

Members are encouraged to be available during standard business hours for Chamber-related communications, events, and services. The Chamber will make reasonable efforts to accommodate scheduling needs, but operates primarily during business hours.

Acceptance of Terms

By submitting payment for membership or services, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions in their entirety. The Chamber reserves the right to update these terms as necessary; members will be notified of any significant changes.
