The BGIP Summer Spectacular just celebrated its 3rd year, raising funds for The Port Perry Hospital

And we couldn’t have done it without you.

What began as a simple backyard gathering has grown into a truly powerful fundraising and networking event.

And it’s all because of our caring and generous community.

Three years ago, my wife and I invited family, friends, and clients over for what we called our “Back to Life” party. It was 2022, and after two years of distance and disconnection due to the pandemic, we just wanted to be together again. We were grateful to eat, dance, and celebrate the joy of being back in community with one another.

That night, something sparked. We didn’t just reconnect — we were reminded of the deep power that togetherness holds. We knew we had to keep the power of connection, community, and camaraderie alive with these Summer events… and so we put our heads together.

Now, we all know — when you get good people together, good ideas happen. And so we started the Annual BGIP Summer Spectaculars: a full-blown charity concert and dinner party in support of the Port Perry Hospital Foundation.

This year, our 120 guests raised over $60,000 and reached a major milestone:
Over $200,000 raised through our annual parties.

What’s special about this fundraiser is that we cover all party costs and the event is free to attend — enabling 100% of donations to go to The Port Perry Hospital Foundation.

This year, we gathered under the warm lights of Trillium Trails Banquet Hall, where the energy was contagious. The venue was stunning, the conversation lively, and the music — courtesy of the incredible Blue Angels and the soulful Jordan John — had us amazed and dancing all evening.

But more than that, we felt a deep sense of purpose behind every laugh, cheer, and donation.

Whether you came from down the road or drove in from out of town, whether you’re family, friend, client, or neighbour — this community of generous people made this night unforgettable. Your presence, giving nature, and joy filled the room.

It’s because of you that this event continues to grow in both size and heart.

You didn’t just attend a party.
You became part of a tradition.
And more than that — you helped save lives.

The Port Perry Hospital isn’t just a building; it’s a lifeline.

This year, we fundraised for an Auto-Pulse CPR machine and a new ECG. When our loved ones go to our local hospital in moments of need, they have state-of-the-art equipment available. That’s why this cause matters so deeply to us — and to you.

Thank you to everyone who came on June 6th — you made history once more.

Looking ahead, we’re already planning next year’s Summer Spectacular.
