March 14 marks Ontario Tech’s third annual Pi Day of Giving!
Pi, 3.14, is a mathematical constant and a significant number toour STEM-focusedUniversity – STEM standing for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Pi also has an infinite number of digits and is used to calculate the size of a circle. So, like the value of Pi, at Ontario Tech, the possibilities are endless for our students. This is why we chose March 14 for our giving day.
To bring together members of the community to celebrate Ontario Tech’s Pi Day of Giving, the University is hosting this family-friendly event to kick off March Break.
On March 12 Sky Zone Whitby is pleased to host a jump night FUNdraiser. For each 60 minute jump pass purchased between 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sky Zone will donate $4 to Ontario Tech’s Pi Day of Giving campaign! Come out to jump for a great cause! Jumpers must mention Ontario Tech Pi Day of Giving when checking in.
