Where To Find Township of Scugog
The Township of Scugog is situated on the shores of Lake Scugog, just 45 minutes north of downtown Toronto and is a mid-way point for travelers from the Windsor-to-Ottawa corridor. Four season tourism plays a very integral role in our communities. In the heart of Scugog, in the town of Port Perry, we have a centralized visitor and business centre across from Lake Scugog where inquiries from all over Ontario, Canada and the world flow through the centre. The Scugog Chamber of Commerce currently provide the resources that the centre offers.
The Scugog Township is just 45 minutes to Lester B. Pearson International Airport in Toronto. Pearson is Canada’s busiest airport, serving more than thirty-one million passengers annually and is serviced by all global airlines. By the year 2020 – the number of travelers passing through the airport’s gates is expected to reach 50 million. To the east of Scugog, the Peterborough Airport, is thirty-five minutes and to the south-east, the Oshawa Airport, is a full service commercial aviation facility, which is within twenty-five minutes of Scugog Lake.
