The Scugog Chamber of Commerce networking “Luncheon with John Henry, Regional Chair” will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the Latcham Hall.

The Scugog Chamber of Commerce will be hosting Regional Chair, John Henry who will be providing an overview of our major projects and giving an update on “happenings in Durham Region”

Elected as Durham’s Regional Chair and CEO in 2018, John Henry served as the Mayor of Oshawa from 2010-2018, and Regional Councillor for Oshawa’s Ward 5 from 2006-2010.  He has previously served as a member of the Regional Planning & Economic Development Committee, as Chair of the Durham Region Local Housing Corporation, member of the Durham Region Transit Executive Committee and the Durham Environmental Advisory Committee.

Networking opportunities with the Regional Chair and fellow business members will be available after the presentation.

The luncheon will be held at Latcham Hall, 121 Queen Street, Port Perry.

Registration is at 11:30am.

Tickets are available at a cost of $30.00 per person for members and $35.00 per person for “future” members which includes lunch.

Please note that seating is limited for this networking event.

There will be no tickets sold at the door. Reservations may be canceled up to 48 hours in advance of the meeting. We regret we must invoice those who fail to cancel in advance to cover preparation costs for the caterers.

Chamber members are invited to bring their corporate literature and business cards for display and distribution plus there will be a business card draw at the end of the meeting for a free breakfast / luncheon coupon.
