The Scugog Chamber of Commerce networking “Luncheon with Executive Director, Chuck Thibeault” will be held on Thursday, February 28th, 2019 at Emmaunel Community Church.

The Scugog Chamber of Commerce will be hosting Central Counties Executive Director, Chuck Thibeault who will be providing an overview of our Scugog Tourism strategic plan that was approved at council in 2018!   The presentation will be providing a high level overview of some exciting tourism opportunities that are on the horizon.   Why should you come?  To see how you can be a part of  Scugog 2nd largest economic driver!  You will be surprised how many business areas can overlap within the “bigger” picture!

Chuck Thibeault has been active in the tourism industry for the past twenty years. He began his career out of university at an indoor playground for children and then became a partner in Putting Edge Glow-in-the-Dark mini golf. After selling his shares in this venture, he joined Ontario Place as Director of Sales. Leveraging his expertise in sales, he then worked as Director of Sales and Membership at the Royal Ontario Museum. He joined Central Counties Tourism as Executive Director, September 2012. Chuck sat on the Board of Directors of Attractions Ontario for 11 years and is currently a board member of TIAO. Chuck lives in Georgetown with his wife Trish and three sons, aged 13, 13 and 9.

The luncheon will be held at Emmaunel Community Church, 1680 Reach St, Port Perry.

Registration is at 11:30am.

Tickets are available at a cost of $25.00 per person for members and $30.00 per person for “future” members which includes lunch!

There will be no tickets sold at the door. Reservations may be canceled up to 48 hours in advance of the meeting. We regret we must invoice those who fail to cancel in advance to cover preparation costs for the caterers.
