The Scugog Chamber of Commerce networking “Breakfast with Holly Barkwell” which will be held on Thursday, November 28th, 2019 at Emmanuel Community Church.

The Scugog Chamber of Commerce will be hosting  Holly Barkwell, President and the CEO of the BH Group Inc.  who will be covering common types of Cyber crime and how to identify them.  What to do if you are victimized. How to protect your business from Cyber crime and how to formulate a business continuity plan.

Holly Barkwell has worked with public safety agencies for over 23 years providing services, including CAD/RMS product design, system software development, staging and testing, system installation, and third party system integration. She continues to actively participate in several industry associations including NENA and APCO,  serving on various technical committees and subcommittees. Past involvement in industry product safety groups like the Underwriters Laboratory of Canada and the Security Industry Association ensures safety standards for innovative equipment and technical applications are continually improved. She is an active participant in National and Regional regulatory Working Group Subcommittees and works hard to promote Next Generation 9-1-1 operations and policy planning.

The breakfast will be held at Emmaunel Community Church, 1680 Reach St, Port Perry.

Registration is at 7:30am.

Tickets are available at a cost of $25.00 per person for members and $30.00 per person for “future” members which includes lunch!

There will be no tickets sold at the door. Reservations may be canceled up to 48 hours in advance of the meeting. We regret we must invoice those who fail to cancel in advance to cover preparation costs for the caterers.
