Business for Luncheon –Clarifying Cannabis Legislation.
The Scugog Chamber of Commerce networking Luncheon will be featuring Ryan Day from Peninsula Canada, HR & Employment Relations. The “Business for Luncheon” will be held on Thursday, November 29th, 2018 at the Emmanuel Community Church.
In this session we will cover: The difference between medical and recreational use | Drug policies and testing | Responding to suspected cannabis use | Accommodation process of medically authorized cannabis use
Ryan Day is a member of the Peninsula Canada team. His main objective is to help business owners and demonstrate the necessity of keeping businesses up to date with the constant changes in legislation, while unraveling the potential pitfalls that employers face in managing their businesses.
The Luncheon will be held at the Emmanuel Community Church, 1680 Reach Street, Port Perry, ON.
Registration is at 11:30am.
Tickets are available at a cost of $25.00 per person for members and $30.00 per person for “future” members.
Reservations are required Wednesday, November 28th, 2018. There will be no tickets sold at the door. Reservations may be canceled up to 48 hours in advance of the meeting. We regret we must invoice those who fail to cancel in advance to cover preparation costs for the caterers.
